This is a original ranco part This is a heater control valve assembly Fits Mopar Heater Control Valve 1955 1956 dodge desoto plymouth chrysler W/ Model 700 701 702 704 Heater passenger car some models this is a ranco type valve gm part # 1648037stamped in base sdame as 1688946 this valve was in a box of about 50 loose heater control valves we have they got wet and had some surface rust do we cleaned up most were new some used but we are going to call all them used sold as shoiwn they are working we put air to them to make sure they worked
